Mignonette left London on 12 December 1914 aboard the Moldavia, bound for Bombay with her mother Catherine.⁶

Mignonette's death was registered in August 1997 in Falmouth, Cornwall, at age 91.⁹

He was named as a beneficiary of the will of Joseph Nisbet Stevens, his father, dated 2 September 1920 at 11 Erica Ave in East Malvern, Melbourne, Victoria; he was to inherit an illuminated testimonial, a silver watch and gold chain, cameo tie ring and any other jewellery his father possessed, £250 from his life insurance and the residue of the estate shared equally with his mother and siblings. However, in a codicil dated 14 Aug 1922, the estate residue was directed solely in favour of his mother.²

Robert's death was registered in 1940 in Middle Brighton, Melbourne, Victoria.³

Margaret Stevenson was born in Ireland circa 1847. Her claimed age at death was 39, but her entry on the Renfrewshire passenger list means she was 10 years younger. Family stories claim Henry gave her death certificate age as 39 to be closer to his age.

She married Henry Collins, son of (--?--) Collins and (--?--) (---?---), in Tullylish, Co. Down, on 17 August 1863.²

Margaret arrived at Brisbane, Queensland, on 20 September 1875, on board the 'Renfrewshire' accompanied by her husband Henry Collins and children Sarah Jane, Henry James, Samuel Albert, William Alfred, Bessy, Richard (aka Frederick) and Lucy. They were assisted immigrants and had left Glasgow on 5 Jun, apart from Lucy, who was born during the voyage.
Henry's sister Jane was also on board, travelling as an unassisted passenger.

According to family lore, they had been advised to go to a warmer climate, specifically Australia, because of Margaret's 'weak lungs.³'

Alexander Stewart was born in Tullochcrosk, Fortingall, Perthshire, on 29 June 1841.¹

He was employed in 1863 at Tuapeka Hospital in Tuapeka, Otago.^8,9

To carry his sixteen stone he bought a horse through the agency of James Robertson (his brother-in-law), who broke it in for him. This horse, whose name he changed from 'Dick the Devil' to 'Doctor' became well known as a trotter and once went the distance from Tokomairiro to Dunedin (38 1/2 miles) in under two and a half hours.^10,11 He was registered from 1866 to 1871 on the electoral roll at Otago.¹² He was registered in 1867 and 1874 on the electoral roll at Otago.¹²

He married Margaret Robertson, daughter of Peter Robertson and Janet Gillespie, at Imperial Hotel in Dunedin, Otago, on 30 April 1867.^13,14,15 He was registered from 1868 to 1876 on the electoral roll at Otago.¹²

He signed a will dated 4 November 1869 in Lawrence, Otago, naming his wife as executrix and sole beneficiary.¹⁶

Alexander died on 16 April 1878 in Lawrence, Otago, at age 36 of pneumonia.^17,18,19

His will was probated in Otago on 30 April 1878 with Margaret Robertson appointed executrix.¹⁶ He was buried on 10 July 1878 at the Lawrence Cemetery in Lawrence.^20,17
