Maxwell Jameson FORFAR was born in Orwell, Kinross-shire, on 4 August 1824. and was baptised on 8 August 1824 in Orwell.1

She married John HUTTON, son of George HUTTON and Janet HARLEY, in Dunfermline, Fife, on 17 January 1846.2

Maxwell died on 12 May 1882 in Alloa, Clackmannanshire, at age 57.3

He was baptised on 7 June 1829 at Orwell, Kinross-shire.1

He married Mary McGregor IRELAND in Leslie, Fife, in 1856.2

He was ordained in 1854, then went to Liverpool from Kilwinning, Ayr, where he had been living following completion of his studies at St. Andrews. He was Minister at Oldham St. Church, Liverpool and lived at 30 Sandon St.3

Patrick died on 12 October 1890 at Liverpool, Lancashire, in his pulpit, while preaching. He supposedly had 14 children, but his obituary names only 4 sons and 2 daughters. The only known names are Hugh and Alice (1866-19/8/1961).3

William FORFAR was born in Scotland in 1757.

Formerly a school teacher at Cairnlee, he was presented to King George III on the 26th of September 1792. After being ordained into the Presbyterian Church on the 24th of January 1793, he remained in the ministry at Saline for 52 years. He was the first preacher at the 'modern' (1811) church.1

He married Maxwell BETHUNE, daughter of Neil BETHUNE and Janet JAMISON, in Saline, Fife, on 14 March 1794.2

William died on 24 November 1844 in Saline, Fife.

Edward died on 10 March 1911 in Gaya, Bengal, of tetanus. He was the District and Sessions Judge of Gaya at the time of his death and his wife was in England.5
