He married Mary Newell BROWN, daughter of William BROWN and Jane NEWELL, at St Andrews by the Wardrobe in London, Middlesex, on 26 March 1811.1,4,6,7

He was named as a beneficiary of the will of John FORSAITH, his uncle, dated 13 October 1813 in London, Middlesex; he was to receive £200.8

He was named as a beneficiary of the will of Elizabeth FORSAITH, his aunt, dated 1 June 1824 in New Sleaford, Lincolnshire; his inheritance was to be £400, or about 1/5 of the estate.9

He was appointed executor of Samuel FORSAITH's estate in England on 23 February 1825, as the executors named in the will had pre-deceased (in the case of his wife Sarah) or died without proving their own will (in the case of his brother John).10

According to the note attached to the very late non-conformist birth registration of his daughter Martha, Thomas was 'abroad' in June 1837.11

He was a tailor when his son Samuel married in 1839.12

He was listed in the 1851 census as Head of Family at 53 Paul St in St Leonards Shoreditch, London, Middlesex, with his wife Sarah; he was an Engineer Master, employing two men and a boy. Their children David, Mary, Anna, Thomas, Joseph and Martha were listed as living with them.9

David FORSAITH, Mary Anne FORSAITH, Thomas FORSAITH, Joseph FORSAITH and Martha FORSAITH arrived at Adelaide, South Australia, on 1 October 1855 on board the 'Caucasian', having left London on the 4th of June in the company of their parents Thomas FORSAITH and Sarah CAMPIN.4

He married Ada Mary HALL, daughter of Charles HALL, at the residence of the Rev G Stonehouse, Stanley St in Nth Adelaide, South Australia, on 2 December 1867. (Note - there is some confusion as to whether the date is the 2nd or the 12th Dec).1,5

He signed a will dated 27 January 1898 at 68 Archer St in Adelaide, South Australia, appointing his wife Ada executrix and sole beneficiary.6

He died on 5 April 1902 in Nth Adelaide, South Australia, at age 55.1,7,8,9 He was buried on 10 April 1902 at the North Road Cemetery.9

Thomas Henry FORSAITH was born in Battersea, Surrey, on 27 May 1882.1,3,2
The siblings Margaret, Thomas, Dorothy, Janet and Helena were listed in the 1891 census at 7 Rose Hill Rd in Wandsworth, Surrey, with their parents, Thomas Edward FORSAITH and Helen Lucy SHEPARD.3
He was listed in the 1901 census, lodging in Crane Lake, Assiniboia, The Territories, with a John CLARK and working as a labourer.4

He was listed in the 1911 census as Head of Family in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan; he was a farmer, apparently living alone.5

He enlisted in the 5th Battalion, 1st Canadian Division (No.12981) on 31 August 1914 at Valcartier Camp.6 He was transferred from Larkhill Camp, England for France on 9 Feb 1915 and wounded near Ypres on 22 May, when a rifle bullet entered his left ear and emerged in front of his right ear. He was treated at St Omer, then sent back to Rouen, but eventually became permanently deaf. After returning to England in Jun 1915 he was transferred to the 32nd Reserve Batallion; the opinion of the Medical Board was that he should be given a course in lip-reading and then be discharged as medically unfit, which took place on 9 Dec 1915 in June 1915 at France.7,6

Thomas arrived in Canada on the 17 April 1916, having sailed on the Metagama from Liverpool to St John, New Brunswick along with Margaret Lucy FORSAITH.8

He married Gwendolen Isobel TURNER in Tompkins, Saskatchewan, on 2 January 1917.1,9

He died on 17 April 1966 in Alberta at age 83.1,10 He was buried at the Hillside Cemetery in Medicine Hat.10
