WE are descended from Royalty!

Members of the HAMPSON family claimed that they were descended from Edward III of England, or John of Gaunt (who is in the same lineage). This claim was always treated with some disdain by other family members, but correspondence during February 2017 has shown this to be true - we are indebted to Phil Taylor for pointing us in the right direction.
