William Davison Wood REES was born on 1 January 1847 in Worthing, Sussex.1,2

He married Ellen FORSAITH, daughter of William Smyth FORSAITH and Clara Lydia Bolton TWYNAM, at the Parish Church in Camborne, Cornwall, on 23 April 1879.1,3,4

He was listed in the 1881 census as Head of Family at The Briars in Barmby Moor, Yorkshire, with his wife Ellen; he was a Clerk in Holy Orders (or curate). Their children William and Muriel were listed as living with them, as was Ellen's sister Mary Louisa FORSAITH.5

Mary Louisa FORSAITH and William LEWIS were married by William Davison Wood REES at St Catherine's Church in Barmby on the Moor, Yorkshire, on 4 August 1886.1,6,7,8

He was listed in the 1891 census as Head of Family at Vicarage in Barmby Moor, Yorkshire, with his wife Ellen; he was the Vicar of Barmby Moor. Their children William, Sidney, Ellen, Louisa, Ada and Frederick were listed as living with them.2

He was listed in the 1901 census as Head of Family at St Catherine's vicarage in Barmby Moor, Yorkshire, with his wife Ellen; he was a Church of England clergyman (so presumably still the Vicar of Barmby Moor). Their children William, Ellen, Louisa, Ada and Frederick were listed as living with them.9

He was listed in the 1911 census as Head of Family at Vicarage in Barmby Moor, Yorkshire, with his wife Ellen; he was a 'clergyman of the Established Church' (so presumably still the Vicar of Barmby Moor). Their children Ada and Frederick were listed as living with them.10

He was appointed executor of Alfred John FORSAITH's estate in Liverpool, Lancashire, on 17 December 1915, with William Benjamin ACKERLEY (retired wine and spirit merchant) as co-executor. The estate was valued at £1062/12/9.11

He was widowed at age 77 on the death of his wife Ellen on 19 January 1924.1,12

William died on 11 November 1932 in Barmby Moor, Yorkshire, at age 85.1,13

His will was probated in York, Yorkshire, on 24 January 1933 with Sidney Twynam Forsaith REES appointed executor of effects valued at £1459/3/-.13

Charles REID was born in Logierait, Perthshire, on 22 January 1828.1 and was baptised on 24 January 1828 in Logierait.1

He signed a will dated 28 October 1880 in Dunedin, Otago, in which he appointed his sons Robert and Donald executors and benificiaries of his whole estate, and specifically excluded his sons John and Charles from any inheritance. The will was the subject of a legal challenge and a lengthy court case brought by his grand-child Charlotte Thyne Bradley, which ran until June 1907.2

Charles died on 8 September 1897 in San Mateo, California, at age 69.2

He married Margaret McGREGOR, daughter of Alexander McGREGOR and Margaret McFARLANE, in Logierait, Perthshire, on 15 May 1825.2

He was a farmer, then later a spirit dealer in Edinburgh.

Donald died on 18 March 1844 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, at age 38.3
