Elizabeth (---?---)1
(c 1805 - 1878)
Elizabeth (---?---) was born in Islington, Middlesex, circa 1805.2
She married Samuel Smyth Forsaith, son of Samuel Forsaith and Elizabeth Smyth, at Norwood in Surrey circa 1840. This marriage (if it actually occurred) appears to be bigamous, as Samuel's first wife Kezia lived until 1890, and records herself in the 1871 census as 'deserted by her husband.2'
She was listed as a member of Robert Forsaith's household in the 1841 census at 10 Curtain Rd, Tower Hamlets in St Leonards Shoreditch, Middlesex.3
Elizabeth left for New Zealand circa 1849. We are relying here on her death records, which state she had been in New Zealand for 29 years.2
Elizabeth died on 7 August 1878 at Beach Rd in Thames of 'nervous debility.2,4' She was buried on 9 August 1878 at the Shortland Cemetery in Thames.2

Elizabeth Mary (---?---)1
(c 1769 - )
Elizabeth Mary (---?---) was born in Wales circa 1769. The 1851 census gives a birthplace of Wales, which seems doubtful, as does her age (82), as daughter Caroline was born when she would be nearly 50. Her name also varies from Mary Elizabeth to Elizabeth Mary across the baptism of the two children.1
She married William Adams.1
She was listed as the mother of Caroline Adams in the 1851 Census at 33 Halfmoon St in St Botolph Bishopsgate, Middlesex.1
