James Donaldson Liddell was born in Alloa, Clackmannanshire, on 1 August 1808.¹ and was baptised on 10 August 1808 in Alloa.¹

James's death was registered in 1878 in Victoria.² He was buried on 5 February 1878 at the Queenscliff Cemetery in Queenscliff.³

John Liddell was born in Airth, Stirlingshire, on 8 March 1793.^1,2 and was baptised on 28 April 1793 in Airth.¹

He married Marion Henderson in Alloa, Clackmannanshire, on 7 January 1820.³

He was widowed at age 64 on the death of his wife Marion on 13 September 1857.⁴
