She and her husband Robert arrived back in London on 8 August 1950 on the Carthage from Hong Kong.9

Peggy arrived back in London on 2 September 1955 on the Strathmore from the Solomons via Brisbane.11

Peggy died on 30 July 1973 in Midhurst, Sussex, at age 55.12,13 She was buried in August 1973 at the St John the Baptist Churchyard in Sutton.14
