He was listed in the 1901 census at North Dock, River Liffey in Dublin, Co. Dublin; he was a Master Mariner of a ship docked there.7

Thomas died on 20 June 1909 in Holyhead, Anglesey, at age 54.8,9 He was buried on 23 June 1909 in Holyhead.10

His will was probated in London on 9 August 1909 with Margaret Williams appointed administrator of effects of £897/2/6.9
