Amy Mary Ann Seeley was also known as Amy Mary Ann Evans After her mother's second marriage to Daniel Evans, she was brought up as an EVANS.
The siblings Rosina and Amy were listed in the 1881 census at 89 Verney Rd in Camberwell, London, Middlesex, with their parents, Daniel Evans and Laura Susan Snow.3
The siblings Amy, Daniel, George and Ellen were listed in the 1891 census at 5 John St in Southwark, London, Middlesex, with their parents, Daniel Evans and Laura Susan Snow. Amy was a shop girl.4

Marriage banns for Amy and Frederick Sutton Godbold were published on 29 July 1900 at St Peter's Church in St Mary Newington, Walworth, Surrey.5

She married Frederick Sutton Godbold at parish church in St Peter's Walworth, Southwark, Surrey, on 5 August 1900.6

She was listed in the 1901 census at 2 Park Rd in Camberwell, London, Middlesex, with her husband Frederick; he was a metal refiner. Their child Grace was listed as living with them, as was Amy's mother Laura Susan Snow. The household also included Amy's step-sister and step-brother Ellen Emma Evans and David Jinkin Evans, who were listed as Frederick's sister- and brother-in-law.7

She was listed in the 1921 census as Head of Family at 21 Leyton Sq in Camberwell, London, Surrey; she was employed by R White in general mineral water work. Her children Ethel, Beatrice, Ellen, Rose and Frederick were listed as living with her.8

William Robert Seeley1

(1849 - 1877)
William's birth was registered between October 1849 and December 1849 in East Ashford, Kent.2

He married Mary Ann Harvey at the parish church, St Johns in Hoxton, Middlesex, on 13 August 1871. He gave his occupation as upholsterer.3

He married Laura Susan Snow, daughter of Abraham Snow and Ann Elisabeth Dallimore, at Parish Church in St Philip Lambeth, Lambeth, Surrey, on 5 February 1876. This marriage was illegal, as William's first wife (Mary Harvey) was still alive.1

He was convicted of bigamy for marrying Laura Snow and after pleading guilty, was sentenced to 18 months prison on 5 March 1877 at the Central Criminal Court of England and Wales (the Old Bailey).4

William died in May 1877 at Wandsworth Prison in Wandsworth, London, Middlesex, after only a few months of his imprisonment.5,6 He was buried on 29 May 1877 at the Norwood Cemetery, Norwood Rd in Lambeth.5

She and her husband Hugh left Southampton on 7 May 1940 on the Pennland for New York, presumably the first leg of their journey to Australia.2

She was widowed at age 61 on the death of her husband Hugh on 14 June 1967.6

She was appointed administrator of Hugh Beverley Macdonald's estate in London on 21 August 1967.

Marna died on 28 June 2006 at Ross Home, 360 Nth Road in Dunedin, Otago, at age 100.7,8 She was cremated at the Dunedin Crematorium, Anderson's Bay on 7 July 2006.9

Eric William Sharp

Eric William Sharp was born in St Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands, on 17 January 1890.

He married Christine Martha Lenfestey, daughter of John George Lenfestey and Maria le Quesne.

He was widowed on the death of his wife Christine between October 1932 and December 1932.1

He left London on the Carthage on 8 April 1938 for Port Said, Egypt, although his intended destination was Hong Kong; he gave his occupation as 'wireless inspector.2'

He married Annie (---?---) in Hong Kong between 1939 and 1943.

On the fall of Hong Kong in December 1941 the Sharp family (Eric, Annie and Eric, Annie and Peggy) were interned in the Nam Ping Hotel before transfer to the main Stanley Internment Camp.3

He and his wife Annie arrived back in Liverpool, Lancashire, on 27 October 1945 from Hong Kong on the Empress of Australia. He gave his occupation as 'Manager, Marconi' and their address was c/o the Marconi International Marine Communications Co.4

Eric published many articies in the Journals of La Société Guernesiaise, firstly in the period 1908-1918 on the marine zoology of Alderney and Guernsey and then from 1959-1979 on historical topics such as The harbours and shipping of Guernsey at the turn of the 19th century (1959), ships and harbours of Guernsey and the 2-part Industrial Archaeology - The early public water supply systems of the Island (1972-3).5

Eric died in 1982 in Guernsey, Channel Islands.6
