Thomas Henry Easdown Smith was born in Kempsey, New South Wales, on 4 June 1910.1,2

He married Dulcie Belle Dakin in Nth Sydney, New South Wales, in 1940.3

He enlisted in the Australian Army (No. NX29416) on 24 June 1940 at Paddington, New South Wales.2 He was discharged on 16 January 1946 as Lance-Sergeant in the 2/15 Field Regiment, having been a prisoner of war of the Japanese.2

Thomas died on 16 July 1983 in New South Wales at age 73.4,5 His ashes were placed at the St Johns Columbarium.6

William John Smith

William John Smith was born in Newtown, New South Wales, circa 1886. He was the son of Margaret WELLS, but his father's name is unclear. His death certificate claims it was Robert SMITH, but the only Newtown birth in the right era is to a John SMITH in 1886 (#8942).1

He married Alice Rosey Ives in Queensland on 9 February 1909. There were four daughters from this marriage, Alice May (b. 1909), Florence Ellen (b. 1911), Dorothy Maud (b. 1914) and Stella Winifred (b. 1918).2

He was widowed on the death of his wife Alice on 7 March 1922.3

William's second marriage was to Elsie Elizabeth (Sissy) Robinson, daughter of William Henry Robinson and Sarah Jane Collins, on 23 March 1922 in Queensland. There were three daughters from this marriage, Elsie Marie (b. 1916), Sybil Alma (b. 1918) and Joan (b. 1920).4,5

He was widowed on the death of his wife Elsie on 19 July 1931.6,7

William's third marriage was to Margaret Ross on 5 March 1934 in Queensland. There were two children from this marriage, John Francis Ross SMITH (b. 1936) and Robert Keith SMITH (b. 1941).8,1

William died on 20 March 1966 at Mt Olive Hospital in Kangaroo Point, Queensland, of carcinoma of the prostate.9 He was cremated at the Mt Thompson Crematorium in Holland Park on 22 March 1966.1

She married Samuel Forsaith, son of Samuel Forsaith and Sarah Andrews, at St Bartholomews the Great in Shoreditch, London, Middlesex, on 6 November 1800.1,2,4,5

She was named as a beneficiary of the will of John Smyth, her father, dated 27 August 1804 at Holywell St in St Leonards Shoreditch, London, Middlesex; she was to receive £250 to be paid from the debt her husband owed her father (unless that was discharged). If she pre-deceased her father, the same sum was to be paid to her husband Samuel FORSAITH in trust for their children.6

Elizabeth died on 23 September 1809 in London, Middlesex, at age 37 in childbirth.1,7,2 She was buried on 27 September 1809 at the Bunhill Fields Dissenter's Cemetery.1,7,8,9

John Smyth

John Smyth was born in Devon circa 1740.1

He married Sarah Osment in Stoke Damerel, Devon, on 13 July 1764.2,3

He was widowed on the death of his wife Sarah in January 1795.4

He signed the register at Samuel Forsaith and Elizabeth Smyth's wedding at St Bartholomews the Great in Shoreditch, London, Middlesex, on 6 November 1800.5,2,6,7

He signed a will dated 27 August 1804 at Holywell St in St Leonards Shoreditch, London, Middlesex, in which his considerable fortune was left to his eight then living children and/or their spouses in trust for the grand-children. His sons William and Robert Osment were appointed executors.8

John died in January 1806 in London, Middlesex.1 He was buried on 23 January 1806 at the Bunhill Fields Dissenter's Cemetery.1

His will was probated in St Leonards Shoreditch, London, Middlesex, on 20 March 1806 and his sons William and Robert Osment were appointed executors.9

She married James Poole at St Giles in Cripplegate, London, Middlesex, on 7 April 1801.3

She was named as a beneficiary of the will of John Smyth, her father, dated 27 August 1804 at Holywell St in St Leonards Shoreditch, London, Middlesex; she was to receive £500, or, if she died before her father, a sum of only £300 was to be paid to her husband James POOLE, in trust for their children.4

She was widowed on the death of her husband James in July 1805.5

Mary's second marriage was to Robert Forsaith, son of Samuel Forsaith and Sarah Andrews, on 26 January 1810 at St Mary in Hornsey, London, Middlesex.2,6,7

She was named as a beneficiary of the will of Robert Forsaith, her husband, dated 5 September 1817 at Wades Place, Mile End Row in Middlesex; she was to receive all his furniture, plate, linen, china and apparel, and the income from an £800 life insurance, so long as she remained unmarried - if she re-married or died, the monies would then flow to the 4 children in equal shares as they reached 21 (or revert to her if they died before reaching the age of 21).8

She was widowed on the death of her husband Robert on 16 October 1817.2,9,10

She signed a will dated 23 February 1841 at 3 White Horse Lane, Stepney in London, Middlesex, in which her estate was willed to her children, with a large proportion going to Sarah Smyth POOLE.11

She was listed in the 1841 census at White Horse Lane, Mile End Old Town (Lower) in Tower Hamlets, Stepney, Middlesex; she was a school mistress. Her children Mary, John and Sarah were listed with her.12

Mary died on 22 January 1844 in Stepney, London, Middlesex.2,10,13 She was buried on 23 January 1844 at the Bunhill Fields Dissenter's Cemetery.10,14,15

Her will was probated in England on 17 July 1844 with Sarah Smyth Poole and John Smyth Forsaith appointed executors.11

If she died before reaching her majority, the money was to be divided amongst her sisters.4

She married Edward Mitchell at St Mary's in Hornsey, Middlesex, on 27 March 1807.1,2,5

Rebecca died in August 1829 in London, Middlesex.6 She was buried on 26 August 1829 at the All Saints in Poplar.7

He married Ann Elisabeth Dallimore, daughter of George Dallimore and Frances Rogers, at St Anne's in Soho, Middlesex, in December 1836.6

He was listed in the 1841 census in Bethnal Green, London, Middlesex, with his wife Ann; he was an upholsterer. Their children Abraham and Frances were listed with them.3

He was listed in the 1851 census as Head of Family at 131 William St in Newington, Surrey, with his wife Ann; he was an upholsterer. Their children Abraham, Frances, Eliza, Elizabeth, Ellen and William were listed as living with them.4

He was listed in the 1861 census as Head of Family at 1 Forster's Building in Camberwell, Surrey, with his wife Ann; he was an upholsterer. Their children Ellen, William and Laura were listed as living with them.7

Abraham George Snow was born in Marylebone, London, Middlesex, on 27 December 1837.1,2 and was baptised on 14 January 1838 at All Souls Church in St Marylebone.3,2
