She was listed on the roll as a student at Lawrence, Otago, from 1881 to 1889.3

Margaret was named executrix and beneficiary in the will of Margaret Robertson, her mother, dated 17 April 1899 at District Court of Otago Goldfields in Lawrence, Otago; she was to inherit 2 freehold sections of land in Lawrence along with their buildings, plus the household furniture, plate, linen, glass, china, jewellry, clothes and chattels, a legacy of £1500, and an equal share (with her brothers) of the remainder of the estate.4

Margaret Kate Stewart and Peter Robertson Stewart were appointed executors of Margaret Robertson's estate at District Court of Otago Goldfields in Lawrence, Otago, on 3 June 1899.4

She married James Bevin at Lawrence Presbyterian Church in Lawrence, Otago, on 11 August 1899.5,6,7,8

She was widowed on the death of her husband James in 1921.9

Margaret died in 1934 in New Zealand.10

Peter Robertson Stewart was born in Gabriels, Otago, on 29 September 1871.1,2

He was listed on the roll as a student at Lawrence, Otago, from 1881 to 1888.3

He was named executor and beneficiary in the will of Margaret Robertson, his mother, dated 17 April 1899 at District Court of Otago Goldfields in Lawrence, Otago; he was to inherit an equal share (with his siblings) of the residue of the estate, after the disbursements to his sister Margaret.4

Margaret Kate Stewart and Peter Robertson Stewart were appointed executors of Margaret Robertson's estate at District Court of Otago Goldfields in Lawrence, Otago, on 3 June 1899.4

He married Christina McLaren at her home, registered at Tokomairiro Presbyterian Church in Milton, Otago, on 30 October 1902.5,6,7,8

He was listed on the 2nd NZEF roll, with no dependant children, resident at Hokitika, Westland, NZ; but this may be another Peter Robertson Stewart, as the Auckland Cenotaph database records a draper, next of kin mother (Mrs JRB Stewart of Port Chalmers), embarking on the Ruapehu 14 March 1917.

Peter died in 1931 in New Zealand.9

William Stewart1

William Stewart was born in Blair Atholl, Perthshire, circa June 1832.1 and was baptised on 12 August 1832.1

He married Christian Fergusson, daughter of John Fergusson and Christy McGregor, in Middlebridge, Blair Atholl, Perthshire, on 8 June 1860. He stated he was a shepherd, and his father was a farm labourer, while she was a domestic servant, and it appears that she took four years off her age.2

He was listed in the 1881 census as Head of Family at Priest Yard in Dumbarton, Dunbartonshire, with his wife Christian; they were both working as shepherds. The household included their niece Caroline Maud Fergusson, who was incorrectly listed as their daughter, born in England rather than Wales. Their children William, Alexander and Christina were listed as living with them.3

He was listed in the 1891 census as Head of Family at 89 North St in Anderston, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, with his wife Christian; he was an engineer's labourer. The household included their niece Caroline Maud Fergusson, who was incorrectly listed as born in England rather than Wales. Their child Christina was listed as living with them, as was her husband William Wise and their daughter Mary.4

William's death was registered in 1897 in Kelvin, Glasgow, Lanarkshire.5

Julia Stickland1

Julia Stickland was born in Poole, Dorset, on 12 January 1861.1,2

She was widowed on the death of her husband Jethro between January 1934 and March 1934.10

She was listed in the 1939 Register at 93 Canford Rd in Bournemouth, Hampshire. Daisy Maude Corbin was listed as living at the same address.2

Julia died on 26 November 1939 in Bournemouth, Dorset, at age 78.11,12 She was buried on 30 November 1939 in Upwey.13

Her will was probated in Winchester, Hampshire, on 28 December 1939 with Daisy Maude Corbin appointed administrator with her estate valued at £104/13/7.12

Rosa Ethel Stoakes was born in Kettering, Northamptonshire, on 27 September 1896.2,1
She was listed in the 1921 census at the Trevelyn Hotel, 70 Front St in Tynemouth, Northumberland, where she was entered as a travelling vocalist.3

She had a defacto relationship with Leonard Jack Eyland from about 1936 as Rosa used the name EYLAND, and they both claimed to be married, although no evidence of a marriage has been found.4

She was listed in the 1939 Register at 6 Gunterstone Rd in Fulham, London, Middlesex, with Leonard Jack Eyland; he was a theatrical artist.2

Rosa's death was registered between April 1977 and June 1977 in Maidstone, Kent.4
