Their children Sydney, Henry and Rose were listed as living with them, as was his mother-in-law Sarah Ann Murphy and her two sons Archibald William Wicks and William Cyril Wicks.⁵

Ernest died on 16 December 1956 at 2672 Oxford St in Vancouver, British Columbia, at age 79 of arteriosclerosis and broncho-pneumonia; his wife was the informant.²

Eliza Ann Pogue was born in York, Ontario, on 7 February 1894.²

She married Robert Harry Wingate McInnes, son of James McInnes and Mary McLeod, at Cookes Church in Toronto, Ontario, on 15 July 1920.³

She was widowed at age 81 on the death of her husband Robert on 27 February 1975.⁵

Eliza died in 1987 in Canada. She was buried in 1987 at the St James Cemetery, 635 Parliament St.⁶
