He was listed in the 1841 census in Upwey, Dorset, with his wife Jane; he was a mason. Their children Mary, Sidney, Elizabeth and John were listed with them.4

As of about 1850 onward, Jethro Walters was also known as Watters in the census and other records - this appears to be mis-readings of the written WALTERS script, but his probate record (and that of his wife) are under the name of WATTERS. This variant also applies to other members of the family in various records.

He was listed in the 1851 census as Head of Family in Upwey, Dorset, with his wife Jane; he was a mason. Their children Sidney and Elizabeth were listed as living with them.5

He was listed in the 1861 census as Head of Family in Upwey, Dorset, with his wife Jane; he was a mason and she was a grocer. Their children Sidney and Elizabeth were listed as living with them, as were their grandsons Jethro Sidney James Corbin, George Frederick Amor and John Amor.1

He was listed in the 1871 census as Head of Family at Elwell Lane in Upwey, Dorset, with his wife Jane; he was a mason. Their child Sidney was listed as living with them.6

Jethro's death was registered on 14 June 1873 in Upwey, Dorset.7,8 He was buried on 21 June 1873 at the St Lawrence Anglican in Upwey.9

His will was probated in Blandford on 20 August 1880 with Sidney Walters appointed administrator of his personal estate, being less than £20.8
