Ann Elizabeth Edwards was born in Folkestone, Kent, on 15 January 1855.^2,3
She was listed as a servant in Alfred Henry Haggis's household in the 1891 Census at 367 London Rd in Croydon, Surrey, acting as house-keeper. She would shortly marry Alfred's widowed son-in-law Howard, who was also living in the household.²

Ann's marriage to Howard Barnard was registered between April 1893 and June 1893 in Hendon, Middlesex.¹

She was listed in the 1921 census at 18 St Mary's Rd in Willesden, Middlesex, with her husband Howard; he was a journalist for the North-West Printing and Publishing Assoc. Ltd. The household included their niece Edith (37) and great-niece Jessie Isabel Tull (12).⁴

She was widowed at age 77 on the death of her husband Howard on 6 April 1932.^5,6

She was appointed executrix of Howard Barnard's estate in London on 9 June 1932.⁶

She was listed in the 1939 Register at 18 St Mary's Rd in Willesden, Middlesex; she is stated to be 'incapacitated' and one Edith GLAZEBROOK, a nurse/housekeeper is living with her.³

Ann died on 15 September 1948 in Willesden, Middlesex, at age 93.^7,8

Her will was probated in London on 9 December 1948 with effects of £5987/1/2; the beneficiaries were her step-son Howard Clive Barnard and her nurse Edith GLAZEBROOK.⁸

He married Jane Isa McInnes, daughter of Charles McInnes and Margaret McColl, at Salvation Army Citadel, Main St in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, on 22 December 1904. He was a journeyman house painter, she a tea-room waitress at the time of their marriage.²

Joseph died on 6 July 1921 at 253 Duke St in Dennistoun, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, at age 43 of mitral and aortic incompetence. The informant was his wife Jane.³

Margaret Dulina McColl (Peggi) Edwards was born at 35 Kilberry St in Dennistoun, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, on 14 December 1906.¹

She was largely brought up by her Aunts Teea, Marion, and Uncle John.
She was listed as the grand-daughter of Charles McInnes in the 1911 Census at 848 Argyle St in Anderston, Glasgow, Lanarkshire.³
She was listed as the niece of Dugald McColl McInnes in the 1921 Census at 32 Dowanhill St in Partick, Glasgow, Lanarkshire.⁴

Margaret died on 6 January 1974 in New Kilpatrick, East Dunbartonshire, at age 67.^5,6 She was buried on 9 January 1974 at the Achnaba Cemetery in Ardchattan Church.⁶

Isabella Jane Elliott was born in Co. Dublin circa 1848.¹

She married John Burrows in Dublin Nth, Co. Dublin, in 1875.²

She was listed in the 1901 census at Bushfield Tce in Dublin Sth, Co. Dublin, with her husband John; he was an accountant, the family were Presbyterian and appeared to be living in a substantial house of six rooms, with a servant. Their children Edwin, Evelyn, Walter and Oswald were listed as living with them.¹

She was listed in the 1911 census at Mountainview Rd in Dublin, Co. Dublin, with her husband John; he was now a book-keeper for a wine store. Their child Oswald was listed as living with them.³

Lloyd Percy Michael Ellis was born on 29 September 1922.^1,2

He married Ruth Barlow Buchanan, daughter of William Buchanan and Madge Hazel Macdonald, on 26 July 1962.¹

Lloyd died on 4 August 2007 in Bay of Plenty at age 84.^3,4

Thomas Chute Ellis was born in Port Gawler, South Australia, on 28 December 1848.²

During his youth he resided at Buckland Park, on the old Port Gawler station, at that time the property of his father. He was educated at St. Peter's Collegiate School, Adelaide, and finished his education at the Charterhouse and Henley Royal Grammar Schools, in London.
In 1869 he returned to Australia and took charge of his father's estates in South Australia and New Zealand, making Benara Station his headquarters and home.
In Aug 1883 he presented the Mount Gambler Town Council with a clock for the Town Hall tower, then in course of erection.
During his 51 years' residence at Benara he bred up a high-class flock of Corriedale sheep, the largest in Australasia.
He was married three times, first to Miss M. V. Barrow, Portland, sister of Mrs. A. P. Laurie; second to Miss Agnes Williams, daughter of the late Mr. T. Williams, of Moorak; and third to Miss Florence R. Ayton, of Tasmania. By his second marriage he had three sons - Messrs. Thomas Chute, William N. Chute, and John Chute, and by his last marriage a son, Mr. Harold Chute, and a daughter, Miss E. C. Ellis.
His third son (Dr. J. C. Ellis) was killed while serving as a Lieutenant in the Royal Field Artillery in Belgium, in June 1917.³

Thomas's third marriage was to Florence Rose Ayton, daughter of William Pooley Ayton and Susan Ann Connor, on 29 March 1893 in Tasmania.⁴

Thomas died on 21 December 1920 in Mt Gambier, South Australia, at age 71.^5,6
