Winifred Ross Stuart was born at Athol Place in Dunedin, Otago, on 4 November 1901.^2,3

Winifred died on 6 June 1995 at Caughey Preston Home, Ventnor Rd in Remuera, Auckland, at age 93 of cerebrovascular disease.^4,5 She was cremated at the Purewa Crematorium in Meadowbank on 7 June 1995.⁵

She married Thomas Connor in Hobart, Tasmania, circa 1833.^1,2

Leonard's birth was registered between January 1890 and March 1890 in Camberwell, London, Surrey.²

He married Annie Paul, daughter of Ralph Paul and Barbara Warner Marshall, in Drummoyne, New South Wales, in 1915.¹

Leonard died on 4 February 1964 in New South Wales.³

Elizabeth Eleanor Subritzky was born in Maldon, Victoria, on 18 October 1857.^3,2

She married Samuel Hayward Ford Matthews in New Zealand in 1875.^4,5

She married Henry Blencowe (Blen) Matthews in New Zealand on 21 January 1882.^2,3,4,5,6

In 3 March 1898 Henry petitioned Evelyn May Subritzky for divorce, naming his brother Ernest Crowther MATTHEWS as co-respondent, Ernest having lived with them since 1884 as partner in their farm. In evidence Henry stated that after the birth of their third child on 29 Aug 1888, she had become colder to him; after becoming suspicious and confronting her in September last she had admitted to having been unfaithful 'for some years' and that the fourth child was not Henry's.
Mr Justice Conolly of the Supreme Court granted a decree nisi with the right to apply for a decree absolute in three months.

Note that according to the NZ Birth Index, the six children of Henry and Evelyn were Violet Evelyn (1883), Hylda Mabel Rose (1884), Kenneth Lionel (1886), Norman Vincent (1888), Henry Laurence (1889), Hayward Blencowe (1890), meaning Norman's father was not actually Henry.^7,6

Evelyn's second marriage was to William Henry Whittingham in 1899 in New Zealand.⁸

Evelyn died in 1906 in New Zealand.⁹

Johannes Anton Subritzky was born in Luneburg, Hanover, on 27 July 1830.¹

He married Elizabeth Hoare at Manse, Freeman St Church in Adelaide, South Australia, on 27 June 1851. There were reputedly 14 children in all from this marriage.¹

John died on 10 May 1937 at 11 Victoria St in Cambuslang, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, at age 29 of tuberculosis. The informant was his widow Mary.³

Rachel Ann Sophia Sutton was born circa 1797.²

Rachel died on 5 April 1886 in Parnell, Auckland.^2,3 She was buried at the St Stephens churchyard, Judges Bay in Parnell. Her brother and his wife are possibly also buried here (unconfirmed).²

She was listed in the 1921 census at 14 Myrtle St in Shoreditch, London, Middlesex, where she was living with her widowed mother Caroline (48), brother Frederick (23) and an adopted girl, Elisey Hobb (7). She was working in the printing trade.³

She married Lawrence James Rust, son of William Rust and Julia (Guiliana) Hannah Chiaroni, at St John the Baptist in Hoxton, Hackney, Middlesex, on 17 September 1921. He described himself as a warehouseman.¹

She was listed in the 1939 Register at 40 Styman St in Hackney, Shoreditch, London, with Lawrence James Rust; he was working as a general builder's labourer. Lawrence J Rust and Frederick Rust were listed as living at the same address.²

She was widowed at age 73 on the death of her husband Lawrence on 16 February 1974.^4,5

Ruth's death was registered between October 1982 and December 1982 in Hackney, London.⁶
