Eliza Thornhill was born in Prescot, Merseyside, on 27 March 1805. She was the daughter of John THORNHILL, belived to be a comedian at Prescot.2

She married John Richard Pickmere, son of John Pickmore and Fanny Travers, in Warrington, Lancashire, on 3 March 1823.2,3,1

She was widowed at age 70 on the death of her husband John on 11 May 1875.2,4

Eliza died on 27 May 1887 at age 82.5,1 She was buried at the Llanfair Caereinion Church yard.5,1
