Alexander Chalmers was born circa 1854. (Birth date based on age at marriage).

He married Jean (Jane) McColl, daughter of Dugald McColl and Cathrine Sinclair, at 54 Plantation St in Govan, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, on 16 December 1881. There were no children from this marriage.¹

Alexander died on 16 January 1903 at 46 Plantation St in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, of locomotor ataxia. The informant was his brother-in-law.²

Joseph's marriage to Florence Barlow was registered between October 1959 and December 1959 in Worthing, Sussex.¹

Charles Edward Chandler was born in Holborn, London, Middlesex, on 9 June 1917. He was the son of Thomas and Sophia Chandler.^3,2,4 He was baptised at St Pauls in Islington, Clerkenwell St Peter, Middlesex, on 1 July 1917.²
He was listed in the 1921 census at 13 Northampton St in Finsbury, London, Middlesex, with his widowed mother Sophia (a french polisher) and siblings Lilian (18, also a french polisher), Thomas (16, a mill hand at a cabinet maker), Eliza (12), Rose (9), James (6) and Christopher (10 mths).⁵

Charles's marriage to Ethel Ada Clark, daughter of John Clark and Ethel Blanche Rust, was registered between July 1939 and September 1939 in Hackney, London, Middlesex.^3,1

He was listed in the 1939 Register at 24 Ardleigh Rd in Hackney, London, Middlesex, along with John Clark and Ethel Blanche Rust; he was a Royal Artillery gunner.³
He served with the Royal Artillery (#907973) as a gunner, but spent much of the war as a prisoner (#7183) at Stalag XVIII-A, Wolfsburg.⁶

He married Alice Frances Lettman, daughter of William Henry Lettman and Elizabeth Emily Robinson, in Queensland on 29 June 1908.^1,2

He was widowed on the death of his wife Alice on 20 February 1915.³

George died on 16 July 1929 in Queensland.^4,5 He was buried on 17 July 1929 at the Sth Brisbane Cemetery, 181 Annerley Rd, Dutton Park.⁶

Julia (Guiliana) Hannah Chiaroni was born in England circa November 1870.

She married William Rust, son of James Rust and Eliza Snow, at St James the Great in Bethnal Green, Middlesex, on 30 July 1888. He was a carpenter and both seem to have increased their ages - he was only 18 and she was possibly only 17.¹

Julia's death was registered between July 1920 and September 1920 in Shoreditch, London, Middlesex.²

Shirley Linden Chivers was born in Hobart, Tasmania, on 9 July 1935. She was the daughter of Claude Samuel CHIVERS (1903-1966) and Ruby Nell SWEENEY (1900-1991).¹

Shirley's second marriage was to James Nelson Neal on 9 October 1984 in Brisbane, Queensland.¹

Shirley died on 1 July 2018 in Redcliffe, Moreton Bay, Queensland, at age 82.²

She married John Moody, son of Thomas Mudie and Mary Gordon Nicoll, in Dundee, Angus, on 4 November 1836.¹
