Eric Cadogan Waugh1

Eric Cadogan Waugh was born in Somerset on 3 February 1900. Son of Lt Alexander Waugh (who died before he was born) and Florence Webster. Eric was a first cousin of the novelist Evelyn Waugh.1,2
He was listed in the 1921 census in Hemley, Suffolk, visiting the family of Capt. Malcolm Moncrieff. He was a University student at the time.3
He married Katherine Elsie Clarke, daughter of George Arthur Edward Clarke and Kate Rumney, in Hobart, Tasmania, on 6 February 1929.4
He was widowed at age 55 on the death of his wife Katherine on 20 July 1955.1
Eric died in 1964 in Hobart, Tasmania.1

Ann was named executrix and beneficiary in the will of Richard Funnell, her husband, dated 1 July 1834 in Stody, Norfolk; she was to receive the sum of £50, an income of £10/year and all the cottages and other buildings in Briston, Norfolk, also all "household furniture plate linen and china as she shall make use of within one calendar month next after my decease not exceeding in value the sum of fifty pounds", although a codicil to the will changed this to be 1/3 of the value of such items.2
She was widowed on the death of her husband Richard between January 1845 and March 1845.1,3
