Morice died on 24 October 1952 at of 35 Cargill St in Dunedin, Otago.^1,3 He was buried on 25 October 1952 at the Southern Cemetery.⁴

Ivy May Lawrence was born at 10 Berridge Rd in Lambeth, London, Middlesex, on 29 May 1898. She was the daughter of William LAWRENCE and Ruth (nee ELLWOOD).²

She married David Jinkin Evans, son of Daniel Evans and Laura Susan Snow, at Registry Office in Lambeth, London, Middlesex, on 16 September 1916. He was a driver in the 22nd Reserve Battery of the Royal Field Artillery (L/20358), but it was also noted that his civilian occupation was as a dock labourer.^3,4

She was listed in the 1921 census at 22 Ruby St in Camberwell, London, Middlesex, with her husband David; he was an out of work ship's rigger at the Surrey Dock. Their children Ivy, David and Walter were listed as living with them.⁵

She left London on 3 May 1922 on board the 'Themistocles', bound for Sydney with her husband David, accompanied by Ivy May, David Lawrence and Walter Francis.⁶

Ivy died on 10 March 1932 in Hornsby, Sydney, New South Wales, at age 33.^7,8 She was buried on 12 March 1932 at the Macquarie Park Cemetery in Nth Ryde.⁹
