She married Arthur Stuart (Tui) Macdonald, son of Percy Blomfield Macdonald and Henrietta Eliza (Etta) Traill, in Dunedin, Otago, on 10 July 1935.2
Marjorie died on 6 December 1985 in Stewart Island at age 71.3 She was cremated at the Southland Crematorium in Invercargill.4 Her ashes were buried at Halfmoon Bay Cemetery.5
