She served in the various roles in 2 Signals, rising to Acting Sergeant by Apr 1943 before being discharged in Mar 1944 on appointment to a Commission as Lieutenant in the Australian Signals AWAS. She was finally demobbed on 17 Dec 1945.3
She married Malcolm Humphrey Shand in Maylands, Western Australia, on 6 October 1958. There were no children of this marriage.4
Mollie died on 29 June 2015 in Bayswater, Perth, Western Australia, at age 99.5 She was cremated at the Karrakatta Cemetery & Crematorium.6 Her ashes were buried at Midland Cemetery.6
