Frederick Leslie Forsaith was born in Croydon, Surrey, on 13 January 1893.1,2,3,4
He was listed in the 1901 census at 31 Saxon Rd in Croydon, Surrey, in the household of his parents, Frederick Rooke Forsaith and Elizabeth Annie Barnes.5
He was listed in the 1911 census at 43 Elmwood Road West in Croydon, Surrey, in the household of his mother Elizabeth Annie Barnes, and was a clerk in an architect and surveyor's office.6

He enlisted in the Royal Army Medical Corps (although he had been an architect's clerk) for the duration of the war (as Private, #55770) on 16 February 1915.7,8
He served in the Gallipoli campaign with the 26th Casualty Clearing Station, from which he was hospitalised at Lemnos on 17 Jul 1915, then sent back to Alexandria in Jan 1916. After discharge he joined the 31st Division and was sent to Marseilles, arriving in Apr 1916. From there he joined the 5th Corps in field work but suffered influenza in Jun 1918 before being returned to England on 1 April 1919 for demob on 5 Feb as an Acting Corporal.8
He was listed as a visitor to Phyllis Agnes Pennock's household in the 1921 Census at 16 Essex Rd in Enfield, Middlesex; he was working as an architect and surveyor's assistant.9

He married Phyllis Agnes Pennock in Edmonton, Middlesex, on 3 August 1922.1,10

He was listed in the 1939 Register at 287 Milton Rd in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, with Phyllis Agnes Pennock; he was a surveyor for the Air Ministry Directorate - a position he had applied for in 1928 - and also appears on the RAF lists as P.A.S.I. (acting) in the early years of the war.3,8

He was appointed executor of Elizabeth Annie Barnes's estate in Llandudno, Conway, on 25 July 1942, along with Robert John BATZER.11

He was widowed at age 74 on the death of his wife Phyllis on 7 March 1967.12,13

He was appointed executor of Phyllis Agnes Pennock's estate in Peterborough, Northamptonshire, on 5 May 1967, when his occupation was given as 'retired Air Ministry surveyor.13'

Frederick died on 1 March 1980 in Bedford, Bedfordshire, at age 87.14,15 He was cremated at the Cambridge Crematorium in Cambridge on 5 March 1980.16

His will was probated in Ipswich, Suffolk, on 16 April 1980 with his estate valued at £22298.15

He spent some time in New Zealand at various timber mills before returning to to Australia in 1904.
In 1905 he joined Globe Timber Mills in Broken Hill as yard manager until 1921, when he moved to Clare. Here he entered into partnership with with Mr. G.T. Harder in the furniture business, which he later purchased and turned into a sawmill, timber, joinery and furniture business.
He was secretary of the Clare Masonic Lodge for some years, a Clare Corporation councillor and committee member of the Clare Racing Club.2

He married Florence Celia Hart in Broken Hill, New South Wales, on 17 September 1904.3

Frederick died on 23 October 1938 in Clare, South Australia, at age 57.4 He was buried on 24 October 1938 at the Clare Cemetery in Clare.5
