Sarah Lavinia Bendall was born in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, on 13 January 1817.1,2

She married Robert Ekins Forsaith, son of John Forsaith and Elizabeth Sarah Ward, in Dursley, Gloucestershire, on 13 March 1846.1,3

She was listed in the 1851 census at Rose Cottage, London Rd in Royston, Hertfordshire, with her husband Robert; he was the Independent Minister at Kneesworth St chapel, Royston. Their children Fanny and Robert were listed as living with them.4

She was listed in the 1871 census at the Parsonage in St Mary Cray, Kent, with her husband Robert; he was a Congregational Minister. Their children Fanny, Robert, Francis and Herbert were listed as living with them.5

She was listed in the 1881 census at North Rd in Hertford St Andrew, Hertfordshire, with her husband Robert; he was a Congregational Minister. Their children Fanny, Francis, Annie and Herbert were listed as living with them.2

She was listed in the 1891 census at 95 Clapton Common in Hackney, London, Middlesex, with her husband Robert; he was now a retired independent Minister. Their child Fanny was listed as living with them.6

She was widowed at age 74 on the death of her husband Robert on 3 August 1891.1,7,8

She was appointed executrix of Robert Ekins Forsaith's estate in London on 17 December 1891, along with Thomas GOODMAN of Royston, Hertford (grocer) and James Samuel FEARNLEY of St Mary Cray, Kent (paper-maker) as co-executors. The estate was valued at £581/12/-, but was resworn in Feb 1892 at £601/12/-.8

Sarah died on 28 June 1897 in Wandsworth, London, Middlesex, at age 80.1,9,10 She was buried on 2 July 1897 at the Abney Park Cemetery in Stoke Newington.11

Her will was probated in London on 11 October 1897 with Fanny Forsaith appointed executrix along with Thomas GOODMAN (grocer) and James Samuel FEARNLEY (paper-maker) as co-executors. Her effects were valued at £1363/13/9.10

Margaret Martin Bennet was born in Scotland circa 1881.

She married John Alexander Hyslop, son of John Hyslop and Elizabeth Fergusson, at 1 Meadow Entry in Dundee, Angus, on 8 September 1908. He was a law clerk and she was a pawnbroker's shop assistant.2

She was listed in the 1916 Canadian census at 613 McPherson in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, with her husband John; he was an accountant in a lawyer's office. Both appear to have understated their ages by 7-8 years. Their child Ian was listed as living with them.3

She and her husband John arrived into Liverpool on 19 April 1919 on the Scotian from St John, New Brunswick, Canada accompanied by their child Ian. He gave his occupation as accountant and gave their intended future residence as 184 Lochie Rd, Dundee.4

She and her husband John arrived back in Quebec on 21 May 1923, on the Marburn, having left Glasgow on the 11th accompanied by their child Ian. John gave his brother David, at 34 Thornwood Ave, Partick as his nearest relative, while Margaret listed her sister Helen Brown at 184 Lockie Rd, Dundee.5

She was widowed on the death of her husband John on 29 October 1930.6
