Agnes Dorroch was born in Lanarkshire circa 1806.2
She married John Cross in Hamilton, Lanarkshire, on 16 December 1827.1
She was listed in the 1841 census at 114 Bath St in Barony, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, with her husband John; he was a writer (i.e, a legal clerk). Their children Isabella, Frances, Margaret, John, Agnes, Amelia, George and Elizabeth were listed with them.3
Agnes died circa 1850 in Lanarkshire given that her husband was a widower in 1851 census, and her youngest child was aged 2.
