She left Rotterdam in March 1908 on board the 'Statendam' for New York, arriving on the 10th with her husband Wilhelmus, accompanied by William C (Bill) and Hendrina/Henrietta (Sis).³

She was widowed at age 79 on the death of her husband Wilhelmus on 10 April 1961.¹

Cornelia died on 3 December 1978 in Brookings, Sth Dakota, at age 97.^1,4 She was buried on 6 December 1978 in Brookings.¹

He married Hendrina van der Harst.¹

She married Gordon Field, son of William Chapman Field and Annie Maria Forsaith, in Fort William, Thunder Bay, Ontario, on 9 September 1911.¹

She and her husband Gordon arrived back in England on 19 August 1915 having sailed on the Corinthian from Montreal to London, accompanied by their child Beatrice.⁶

Mercy left London on 9 July 1953 for New Zealand, travelling 1st class on the Rangitane, accompanied by her son William. They arrived in Auckland on the 27 Aug 1953.^7,8

Mercy left New Zealand for Sydney on 30 December 1954 on the Wanganella with William. During their short time in New Zealand he appears to have worked as a school-teacher.⁹

She was widowed on the death of her husband Gordon on 7 December 1958.^10,11
