Margaret died on 24 December 1909 at 848 Argyle St in Anderston, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, at age 57 of sudden cardiac failure. The informant was her husband Charles.⁸ She was buried on 28 December 1909 at the Craigton Cemetery, Berryknowes Road.⁹
