Sarah Campin was born in Black Notley, Essex, in 1811.¹ and was baptised on 20 June 1813 in Black Notley.²

She married Thomas Forsaith, son of Thomas Forsaith and Mary Newell Brown, at St George the Martyr in Southwark, Surrey, on 27 July 1834.^1,3,4

She was listed in the 1841 census at East St, Hoxton in St Leonards Shoreditch, Middlesex, with her husband Thomas; he was an engineer. Their child David was listed with them.⁵

She was listed in the 1851 census at 53 Paul St in St Leonards Shoreditch, London, Middlesex, with her husband Thomas; he was an Engineer Master, employing two men and a boy. Their children David, Mary, Anna, Thomas, Joseph and Martha were listed as living with them.⁶

Sarah arrived at Adelaide, South Australia, on 1 October 1855, on board the 'Caucasian', having left London on the 4th of June accompanied by her husband Thomas Forsaith and children David, Mary Anne, Thomas, Joseph and Martha.⁷

Sarah died on 26 August 1866 in Nth Adelaide, South Australia.^1,8 She was buried on 28 August 1866 at the West Terrace Cemetery.⁹

Harriet Jane Canning was born at Susannah St in St Leonards, Sydney, New South Wales, on 31 December 1871. The birth register states she had a brother (living) and a sister (deceased) at this time.^3,1,2

She married Thomas Edmund Macdonald, son of Robert Conder Macdonald and Emma Matthews, at St Thomas Church in Sydney, New South Wales, on 21 June 1892. Thomas described himself as a chemist, living at Walker St at the time of his marriage. Harriet was under the age of 21 and the minister recorded the consent of her father in the register.^3,1

She was widowed at age 67 on the death of her husband Thomas on 3 April 1939.⁴

Harriet died on 17 November 1942 at 'Clovelly', Narooma in Wahroonga, New South Wales, at age 70 of mitral stenosis and rheumatism. The informant was her daughter Olive.⁵ She was cremated at the Northern Suburbs Crematorium on 18 November 1942.⁵

John William Patrick Canning was born in Sydney, New South Wales, in 1834.^1,2

He married Sarah Ann Butler at Scotch Church, Church Hill in Sydney, New South Wales, on 11 September 1866.¹

He signed the register at Thomas Edmund Macdonald and Harriet Jane Canning's wedding at St Thomas Church in Sydney, New South Wales, on 21 June 1892.^3,4

She married Sidney Wicks, son of Sidney Buckingham Wicks and Harriet Tippett, at Presbyterian Church in Northcote, Auckland, on 23 June 1909.¹

Mary died on 17 September 1926 at The District Hospital in Devonport, Auckland, of cardiac failure.³ She was buried on 18 September 1926 at the O'Neills Point Cemetery, 122 Bayswater Ave in Devonport.^3,4

John Carnes was born on 3 December 1881.²

John's marriage to Gertrude Cecily Haggis, daughter of Charles Burton Haggis and Jessie Gertrude Winzar, was registered between October 1927 and December 1927 in Chertsey, Surrey.¹
